Today's uploads reflect the Wars of the Roses, with two stories from Yorkshire and one from Lancashire.
You can now meet Dinah Townend from High Hoyland in Yorkshire with a story of domestic abuse, illegitimacy and lawbreaking but also an account of overcoming adversity. From The Mount School, we present a story from Lancashire, that of Jane Atkinson Aldridge and her Quaker upbringing. Finally, we are once more in Yorkshire to read about Emily Bauer, who was part of the Voluntary Aid Detachment.
