8 March is International Women's Day and A Few Forgotten Women have a couple of things planned. We will be taking part in Women at Work, a free online event in collaboration with the Alfred Gillett Trust, the home of Shoemakers' Museum. You can find more information and reserve a place here. This will include a talk Milkmaids, Munitions Workers, Milliners and Match Girls: women at work by Janet Few, followed by some of our team sharing stories of working women.
A Few Forgotten Women will also be making a selection of stories, podcasts and videos with a Second World War theme available for you to access at your leisure.
