Will you be joining us at 10.30am GMT on Wednesday 8 March for International Women's Day?
We will be telling the stories of some Forgotten Women. You will learn more about Leeds Industrial School, the subject of our first Forgotten Women Friday. Then there will be two new stories, Mary Pankhurst, a tale of illegitimacy and abandonment and you will also meet Charity Platt, who was imprisoned for prostitution and assault. There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions, as we share not just the stories but some of the historical context and sources used in the research.
