Betty's Story - a new forgotten woman is remembered

For the first time since we launched this site at the beginning of the month, we have a new story for you. This is the biography of Betty Kershaw, a disabled women who was ill treated by her family. Two other women, Betty's mother Maria and her sister-in-law, another Maria, also feature in Betty's story. We are very pleased to share this with you and ensure that Betty is no longer forgotten.
