The last few days has seen the addition of no fewer than nine stories to the site. These are more ladies who were found in inebriate reformatories in 1901. Their stories are available here. Four of these new stories concern women of Irish origin.
Meet Mary Edwards, Rosalind Emily Miles, Minnie Donovan, Mary Ann Bennett, Honoria Coleman, Sarah Jameson, Alice Kilkenny and Ellen Sampson. We have also received several shorter stories; some of the women were determined to be elusive! These will be made available in a single document at the end of the project. Half of the ladies from St. Joseph's and Farmfield Reformatories have now had their stories told and more are expected shortly.
