Can Freda Skate?
While researching for our latest Forgotten Women Friday, the girls who attended two schools for the deaf, I came across a sweet little letter pasted into the register of the Yorkshire Residential School for the Deaf in Doncaster. Although nothing to do with Annie Godber, the girl I was researching, the letter led me down a rabbit hole that started in Yorkshire and ended in Canada. Please note that this story is audio only.
